Setting an example for the future with sustainability in mind

That is the anniversary motto celebrating 150 years of Graubündner Kantonalbank #gkb2020. The newly opened multimedia exhibition allows visitors to experience the impacts of climate change.

Working together with partners, Graubündner Kantonalbank has breathed new life into the former «Piz Alv» restaurant as part of its #gkb2020 anniversary year celebrations. A great deal of Swiss ingenuity can be found in the «MortAlive» glacier protection project. Previous pioneering achievement in the region serve as inspiration for the project, for example the mountaineers, the hydropower installations, the Rhaetian Railway and the tourism facilities.
